Brick Sewers

BRICK SEWERS The materials required for the con• struction of sewers can be determined by use of the following tables—Tables XXI and XXII for circular sewers; and Table XXIII for egg•shaped sewers.

The cost of brickwork laid in sewers ranges from $10 to $15 per cubic yard.

Table XXIV, compiled by G. H. Brown and published in "Municipal Engineering," shows the number of brick required for circular sewers with different thicknesses of joints.

Flush-Tanks. Table XXV gives the number of common sized bricks required for the construction of flushtanks of various sizes.
