DIAMORPHA PUSILLA Nutt. Gen. r : 293. 1818.
The geographic range of this curious plant is gradually ex panding. I have recently found the species at various points in northern Georgia and in 1894 and 1895 met with it on Dunn's Moun tain in Rowan County, North Carolina. The outlying stations of its distribution as we have it represented by specimens are : Cumberland Mountains, Tennessee, Prof. Kirby Smith.
