Potentilla Interniedia L

POTENTILLA INTERNIEDIA L. Mant. I: 76. 1767.

This species very much resembles P. illoweliensis, especi ally var. Nolvegica, and has in this country been mistaken for it It differs mainly in the mostly 5-foliolate leaves, the perennial root and the style. The species is sparingly introduced in the East. Some of the specimens are : New 7erscy and Area, Fork : Addison Brown, 1881 and 1880.
