ALEXANDERSBAD, a watering-place, Bavaria, Germany, romantically situated in the Fichtelgebirge, near Wunsiedel, t. above the sea. Its waters are ferruginous and largely used in nervous and rheumatic disorders. In the neighbourhood is the Luisenburg (or Luxburg), a hill commanding a fine view of the whole Fichtelgebirge.
