GLEN COVE, a city of Nassau county, New York, on the north shore of Long Island, 22 m. N.E. of the Brooklyn borough hall. It is served by the Long Island railroad. The population in 1930 was 11,430. Glen Cove was settled in 1668; chartered as a city in 1918; and has a commission form of government.
