GLENTILT, a glen in the extreme north of Perthshire, Scot land, following a south-westerly direction excepting for the last 4 m., when it runs due south to Blair Atholl. It is watered by the Tilt. Carn nan Gabhar (3,671 ft.) is the highest hill in the Beinn a-Ghlo range which dominates the glen from the east side. Marble of good quality is occasionally quarried.
