GRAND'MERE, an industrial town in Champlain county, Quebec, Canada, on the St. Maurice river, 21 m. N. of the Three Rivers, and on the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific rail ways. It is situated in a good farming district with excellent water-power facilities, which operate pulp and paper mills. Its industries also include the manufacture of stoves. Population 6,461.
