HINSDALE, a residential village of Du Page county, Ill., U.S.A., on the Burlington (railway) Route, 17m. W.S.W. of Chi cago. The population in 1920 was 4,042, and was 6,923 in 1930 by the Federal census. Since 1908 it has had a commission manager form of government.
