Viersen

VIERSEN, a town in the Prussian Rhine province, I1 m. by rail S.W. from Crefeld, and at the junction of lines to Miinchen Gladbach, Venlo, etc. Pop. (1933) 33,594. Viersen is one of the chief seats in the lower Rhine country for the manufacture of velvets, silks and plush, cotton, paper, boots and cement.
