Vinita

VINITA, a city of north-eastern Oklahoma, U.S.A., on fed eral highways 66 and 73, and served by the Frisco and the Mis souri-Kansas-Texas railways; county seat of Craig county. Pop. (193o) 4,263. Vinita is the trade centre and shipping point of a farming, dairying, stock-raising, and fruit-growing region. It has a creamery and a canning factory. The city was founded in 1870 and chartered in 1898.
