Waterford

WATERFORD, a village of Saratoga county, New York, U.S.A., on the west bank of the Hudson river, near the mouth of the Mohawk river, and about i o miles north of Albany. The population was 3,225 in 1910, 2,637 in 1920, 2,921 in 1930. Water ford is served by the Delaware and Hudson railway, and is at the junction of the Erie and the Champlain divisions of the great barge canal connecting Lake Erie and Lake Champlain with the Hudson river.
