WESTON, a city of West Virginia, U.S.A., the county seat of Lewis county. Pop. 5,701 in 1920 (92% native white) ; 8,646 in 1930 by the Federal census. The city lies 1,025 ft. above sea level, in a rich blue-grass region, containing immense coal de posits, oil and gas wells and great stands of poplar and oak.
