BYSTROM, JOHAN NIKLAS Swedish sculptor, was born on Dec. 18, 1783, at Philipstad, and died at Rome on March 13, 1848. The greater part of his life was spent in Italy. His colossal statues of the Swedish kings, in Stockholm, form his most celebrated work.
