In my last post I mentioned Glued Ideas is more than just themes. One of the many things we’re working on is Glued Press. Instead of rehashing something already written, here’s a cut and paste from our front page.

Glued Press provides the real-world application of our Glued Ideas tools. We are creating a system of branded, subject-specific sites and networks that foster community and deliver on the promise of better content through:

• Building exciting communities of users with similar interests using Glued Ideas tools.
• Giving people the content they’ve been seeking through subject-specific blog networks.
• Working with great writers with unique points of view to develop excellence within Glued Press brands.

The first Glued Press offering is Digital Photography Blogs, a network of blogs devoted to…well…Digital Photography! DPBlogs has been up and running for about six months and has surprised us by the traffic level and interest we’ve already received. But we want to make it better. Way better. And that’s where you come in. We’re looking for new writers that fit the following four items.

• A passion for photography. You have to love photography. While we are primarily focused on digital photography, any kind of photographer is welcome to share their ideas.

• A passion for writing. It’s content and great images that keep people coming back week after week. You need to be able to write well and write often.

• A different voice. Have a different take on photography than what’s already on DPBLogs? We want you!

• A commitment to DPBlogs. DPBlogs is a community, not just a list of blogs. Your involvement and interaction with other writers is important.
To entice you a little more, revenue sharing is in the plans. If you have a camera and love to write, we want you!
