I translated the theme to pt_BR (Brazilian Portuguese). How can I send the .po and .mo to you?

So where exactly is the download link I mean the download link on the download page says 0.38

I was looking for it as well and i found that the download link is the same as the .38 one.

I just uploaded 0.391 with a translation fix zetrotinet alerted me to. If you’re using an English version of Subtle, don’t worry about downloading this one. If you’re not and working on a translation, you might want to get 0.391.

If you’ve downloaded 0.391, you’ll want to redownload the correct one which has the final, tested version of the files. It also includes Leonardo F. de Sales’ Portuguese translation. Sorry about any problems the previous upload might have caused anyone.

Hello,how can i do to make the theme suport the plugin of the ajax comments?

Brilliant… This theme just keeps getting better and better

POEdit has a problem, when first installed it does not recognize extended Ascii caracters like the ones used for accented caracters, etc. I see that you reprosesed the file with POEdit again and now all the accented caracters are gone (showing only garbage) please use the original file i sent you, in case you made changes to the PO file then send me the changes and i´ll resend you the file with the corrections. Either way i´ll send you tonight the instructions on how to configure POEdit. Again kudos for your excellent work.

I am going to step over from Pivot soon. Is there anyone already translating to Dutch? If not, how can I supply a dutch translation?

??? - Other than Apart, Subvert and the Default, we haven’t had a lot of time to build publicly released theme styles. Anyone out there have some they’d like to provide to the community?

How can one most easily update the theme? When I tried to just copy over the 3.6 version I lost all my widget layout. Thanks for this theme. It is awesome!

Is there a way to duplicate widgets available the same way we can multiply the Text or RSS Feed widgets? I would need more recent comments and recent posts widgets.

We changed the actual widget area names, so that’s why you had problems. We’ll be keeping the names static from this point out.

2 Questions:

1. in IE 6 my second sidebar slides below the first sidebar, instead of being side-by-side?

Is there a limit to how big the first sidebar should be? How can I fix this?

2. For my bulleted lists, the bullets aren’t showing up in either firefox 2 or IE 6?

Mike - that’s really a great idea. At the moment we have a forum area for Site Promotion and the sites there are definitely worth checking out. I’d love to see more people put their sites up on the list.

It’s a plugin that makes comments appear without refreshing the page.
I’ve been looking the code and the problem is that comments code is not a . Instead is used dl,dt and dd. Shouldn’t this be used only with definitions?

One little problem I noticed is that the style for the archive page widgets is not defined (and so loosing the desired float effect). I fixed it by copying the home widget styles and renaming.

For all the Dutch users of the Subtle theme I have translated the last version of the theme.

I was using the Glued Ideas theme, because it fit my needs to a Tee. Why the past tense?

Because suddenly, something happened and it died on me. By died, I mean that the comment posting simply refused to happen and for some strange reason, it kep going to the post comments page and never updated the comment database.

Now I am not a programmer or a developer, so I have to mention this to you.

Some interesting points (may or may not be related)
1. The comments stopped after I had uploaded a You Tube video embedding
2. I have made no changes in the Glued design except for uploading a personal header, which i don’t think makes a difference
3. I enabled comment subscription plugin, but never got around to testing it for obvious reasons

Hope that helps. I love the concept and would love to use it as my theme. Am even willing to hack up a style for myself through persevered learning. But GI must be stable…

I have problems with comments. Everything was working fine and suddenly the comment didn’t work. I mean, it worked, but the comment is placed in a different post (not in the current post where the comment should go). I’ve been trying to find what the problem was. Any help with this?

I have just installed the latest version of Subtle on my blog. I am trying to use the plugin Headline Images, which allows me to substitute titles with dynamic generated images, allowing me to use the fonts that cannot be used with normal headlines.

However, not being a web designer, I am having a small problem. I have some knowledge of CSS and PHP but it is very limited unfortunately. Have a look at this site: http://thinkcreation.net/italiano

You can see there is a border around the headlines which is not supposed to be there and I believe it’s because the headline is now a linked image. I have looked at the default.css and at the layout.css files and I can’t find the attribute that I need to change. I see a few that deal with links, but I don’t want to change the colour of the normal text links as well. Could you help me just by telling me where I need to make the change?

I have only a wish at the work with WP as a CMS: at child_pages there’s no navigation at the left to the other child pages. This is only at the page with child pages (yes, show_subpages is activ). Is there a possibility to change that?

I’m also having a problem with comments showing up on the wrong posts.

Comments appearing under the wrong post has something to do with teh “recent posts” widget. Disabling the widget is the only solution I’ve found so far.
