Happy Holidays!
Hey everyone! I hope your holiday season is great and that you’re able to make the most of your time with family and friends. It’s been a while since I’ve posted to the blog, so I figured I’d pass on a few updates as something of a year-end letter.
First off - we’ve been working hard on our flagship products Glue, Gluestick, the Open Preference Registry and the Resource Rating Server. That’s quite a few products all being developed in conjunction by a team of three programmers. You’d think it would kill us, but it hasn’t yet. A good deal of our time has been spent working with, learning and patching CakePHP, a very cool rapid development platform for PHP similar to Ruby on Rails. If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s worth looking at. As far as release dates for this stuff, we should be releasing some code for testing in the next couple of months so keep your eyes and ears open!
Second - we’ve had a great year with our blog network DPBlogs.com. Our writers have been doing a wonderful job and the community vibe has been geat. If you haven’t checked out what’s going on there, take a second visit some of our writers. There’s even a great discussion going on about whether or not Ubuntu is ready for Yo Momma.
Third - After the rush of initial development on Subtle, we’ve taken some time off to focus on other things. That doesn’t mean that the community has sat still, though. Community members have jumped in and are providing translations, code and support. Glued Ideas thanks everyone who has added to the experience of using Subtle. We’re excited to see where the community takes Subtle in 2007!
That’s about it for now. John, Christoph and myself will probably be unavailable until after the holidays, but feel free to keep the conversation going. See you in 2007!

Glad to hear you guys are alive.
