Quick Updates

If you’ve been using Flickr Feeder you may have noticed recently that your photos haven’t been updating. Adam Walker at pomomusings.com brought the problem to my attention and passed on the updated link for Flickr’s API. To update your settings, change “Base URL” from:

http://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne

to

http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne

Thanks to Adam for passing this on. If you get a chance, check out his cool new theme Cleaker 2.0. Also - expect some updates to both the site and Subtle in the next couple of weeks.

Hey Chris,

Have I got the chance to thank you for Subtle.. It’s awesome dude…
I cant wait for the next version… Please!! :D cheers

Cleaker 2.0 is now released with Widgets. Go here.

changed the BASE URL to http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne
by editing both the flickr plugin and in the flickr feeder options. edited and saved them individually, and together. sadly no photos display.

Expect the next version of Subtle theme for wordpress

THanks - can’t wait for the new update

Hey friend,
By any chance, do you have a Blogspot compatible version of your Subtle Theme 0.68 (Orchid Pic)?

Or better yet, if you can, please explain how I can integrate your Word Press version into blogspot. You have my email.

Thanks.

Nice work. thanks for update..

Thank you for the updates chris. Hope to see some more in the future

To be honest, I think I’m a little over Flickr at the moment. I guess that, since I’m not a hectic photographer, that it doesn’t really garner my attention like it would for many others (who are very serious about photography). Flickr is definitely still very cool and a brilliant idea, but I’m just not so crazy about it anymore. I guess I’m feeling this way about all social networks right now…
