Absolute Units


ABSOLUTE UNITS, units of measurement of a physical quantity in terms of the fundamental units of length, mass and time; the British Association selected, as their fundamental units, the centimetre, the gramme, and the second of mean solar time, and thus formed the C.G.S. system of units.
