GERMERSHEIM, town in the Bavarian Palatinate, at the confluence of the Queich and the Rhine, 8 m. S.W. of Speyer. Pop.
3,727. From 1644 to 1815 it was sometimes in the possession of France and sometimes in that of the Palatinate. In 1835 the new town was built.
