HALL or is a small spa, of about 1,40o inhabit ants, on a tributary of the river Krems, Upper Austria. Local saline springs rich in bromides and iodides, though long known, have grown in popularity since 1855 when they became the prop erty of the Government and a large new one was opened in 1925. The town is visited yearly by numbers of sufferers for treat ment of scrofulous and other malignant skin diseases.
