HYATT, ANNA VAUGHN 876— ), American sculptor, was born at Cambridge, Mass., March io, 18 76. She studied art in Boston and in New York city, with H. A. MacNeil and Gutzon Borglum. Her equestrian statue, "Jeanne d'Arc," was selected for Riverside Park, New York city, in 1915. This work, a "Saint Joan of Arc" in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York city, and a "Diana" have been her chief figure compo sitions. She was awarded the Rodin gold medal in 1917, and the Saltus medals in 1920 and 1922. In 1923 she married Archer Milton Huntington.
