BIEBRICH, a town of Germany, in Hesse-Nassau, on the right bank of the Rhine, 3m. S. of, and river-port for, Wies baden. Pop. 357. The palace of the former dukes of Nassau occupies a fine position on the river bank. Biebrich is an important steamboat station for both passenger and cargo traffic ; trade is in cement and aniline dyes, and in the wines of the district. Wiesbaden has recently absorbed most of old Biebrich.
