BILEJIK, chief town of the Ertoghrul vilayet in Asia Minor, altitude ',goof t., situated on a hill 21m. from its station on the Ismid-Angora railway. Pop. (1927), 21,427. It is an important
centre of the silk industry, and has several silk-spinning factories.
