BORDIGHERA, Liguria, Italy, province of Imperia, 91 m. S.W. of Genoa by rail, and 3m. E.N.E. of Ventimiglia. Pop. (1931) 8,766. This famed winter resort has beautiful coast scenery and fine gardens ; flowers are largely exported ; palms sup ply palm branches for St. Peter's at Rome and other churches on Palm Sunday. The Bicknell museum contains a unique collection of the flora of the Riviera.
