BODINGTON, SIR NATHAN (1848-1910, vice-chan cellor of Leeds University, was born at Aston on May 29, 1848. A graduate of Wadham College, Oxford, he became a fellow of Oriel, and in 1882 professor of Greek and principal of Yorkshire College, Leeds. He secured the endowment and incorporation of the college as a university in 1903. He died at Leeds on May 12, 191I.
