BRIGNOLES, a town in south-east France, in the depart ment of Var, 36m. by rail N.N.E. of Toulon. Pop. (1931) 3,966. It lies 754ft. above sea level, in the fertile valley of the Carami, contains an old palace of the counts of Provence, and has an active trade in olive oil, besides tanneries and bauxite mines.
