CAMILING, a municipality (with administration centre and 18 barrios or districts), in the north-west part of the province of Tarlac, Luzon, Philippine Islands, on the Camiling river, about 8o m. N.N.W. of Manila. Pop (1918) 23,375, of whom none were white. Its chief products are rice, corn and sugar; fine timbers grow in the vicinity. In 1918 it had 3 manufacturing establishments and 87 household industry establishments, with small outputs from both. Of the 17 schools, 14 were public. The language spoken is Pampanga.
