GIOVANNI CAROTO (1488-1555 ?) the younger brother of Giov. Francesco, was an architect and painter. According to Vasari, who knew him personally, he was a pupil of Liberale. He pub lished a book on the antiquities of Verona, with woodcuts after his own drawings.
