CLEATOR MOOR, an urban district, west Cumberland, England, 44 m. S.E. of Whitehaven, served by the L.M.S.R. Pop. 6,582. The town lies between the valleys of the Ehen and its tributary the Dub Beck, in a district rich in coal and iron ore. The mines together with metal works employ almost the entire population.
