COTA DE MAGUAQUE, RODRIGO (d. before Spanish poet, was born at Toledo. Little is known of him save that he was of Jewish origin and abjured his religion. He is the author of the Didlogo entre el amor y un viejo, a striking dramatic poem first printed in the Cancionero general of 1511, and of a burlesque epithalamium written in 1472 or later.

His Obras have been edited by R. Foulche-Delbosc, in the Cancionero Castellano del siglo xv. (1915) .
