COURBEVOIE, a town of northern France, in the arron dissement of Saint-Denis, department of Seine, 5 m. W.N.W. of Paris on the railway to Versailles. Pop. (1931) 52,529. It is a residential suburb of Paris, and has a fine avenue opening on the Neuilly bridge, and forming with it a continuation of the Champs Elysees. It carries on bleaching and the manufacture of drugs and biscuits.
