CURECANTI NEEDLE, a natural pyramid of granite in Colorado; some Boo or goof t. high, at the mouth of Blue creek, a small stream that joins the Gunnison from the south. The needle is a striking object as seen from the railway (Denver and Rio Grande Western) , which here follows a water level route through the picturesque Black canyon.
