CURIEGRAM, a unit of measurement for radium emanation. It is named in honour of Marie Curie, the discoverer of radium. It is defined as follows: the quantity of radium emanation in equilibrium with one gram of radium. This unit is subdivided into the millicuriegram and the microcuriegram, representing the amount of emanation corresponding to a milligram and a micro gram of radium. These units are used in measuring the dosage in the therapeutic use of radium.
