CUSHIOG, a city of Payne county, Oklahoma, U.S.A., Tom. N.E. of Oklahoma City, near the Cimarron river. It is served by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas and the Santa Fe railways. In 190o the population was 826; in 192o, 6,326; and it was 9,301 in 193o by the Federal census. Cushing is in the oil, gas and cotton belt of Oklahoma.
