DULAC, EDMUND ), illustrator, born at Tou louse in 1882. After having studied in Paris under Jean Paul Laurens he settled in London. His exhibition of watercolours illus trating "Arabian Nights" at the Leicester gallery in 19o7 was very much liked and his work was reproduced with a text by Lawrence Housman. Dulac also illustrated Shakespeare's "Tempest," An dersen's Fairy Tales, Edgar Allan Poe's The Bells and other Poems, and Arthur Quiller-Couch's Old French Tales.
