ESTES PARK, a village at the eastern entrance to the Rocky Mountain national park, in Larimer U.S.A., 55m. N.W. of Denver, at an altitude of 7,500 feet. The nearest railroad station is Lyons, on the Burlington route, 21m. south-east. The population of the precinct was 417 in 193o. It is an important touring centre and summer resort, with some 3o hotels. There is an air port, Stanley field.
