EURASIAN, a term originally used in India to denote chil dren born of Hindu mothers and European (especially Portu guese) fathers. Following the geographical employment of the word Eurasia to describe the whole of the great land mass of Europe and Asia, Eurasian is used of persons born of parents representing the races of the two continents.
