FEHRBELLIN, a town of Germany, in the Land of Prussia, on the Rhine, 40 m. N.W. from Berlin on the railway to Neu-Ruppin. Pop. (1933) 2,122. It has some small industries, among them that of wooden shoes. Fehrbellin is memorable in history as the scene of the victory (June 18, 1675) of the great elector, Frederick William of Prussia, over the Swedes under Field-Marshal Wrangel.
