FESCENNIA, an ancient city of Etruria, probably imme diately north of the modern Corchiano, 6 m. N.W. of Civita Castellana (see FALERII). At Corchiano itself, however, Etrus can walls may be traced, and the site is strong—a triangle be tween two deep ravines, with the third side cut off by a ditch.
