FLETA, a treatise on the common law of England written about the year 1290. It is little better than an ill-arranged epit ome of Bracton. The author also borrowed some information on husbandry from Walter of Henley. He is supposed to have writ ten it during his confinement in the Fleet prison, hence the name.
