FENN, GEORGE MANVILLE (1831-1909), English au thor, known as the writer of a number of boys' books of consid erable popularity. His journalistic work included many contribu tions to Chambers' Journal and Cassel's Magazine, of which he became editor in 1870. He was also the author of several novels and plays.
